McTierney announced this week that Swisher Baptist Elementary School third graders will visit the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky in the upcoming school year. The decision settles weeks of disagreement between parents over whether a visit to the Creation Museum would be appropriate, given that it may cut into the month-long sessions of structured silent prayer and reflection in which Swisher students normally engage at the beginning of each academic year. McTierney was able to broker a compromise between parents favoring the competing plans by requiring that the entire bus ride to the Creation Museum will consist solely of structured silent prayer and reflection.

The Creation Museum field trip, along with the sessions of structured silent prayer and reflection, will be led by Dea. Following the test failure, Kevin was transported to Cedar Rapids Baptist Memorial Hospital for "routine observation."

After spending three weeks in intensive care, Kevin has been relocated to his home for the remainder of his recovery.

Kevin expects to be back on the testing field shortly, and released the following statement regarding his partipation in Project Jet Pack:

"I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to test jet packs - they are the future. My injuries were minimal, especially in comparison to the pain endured by the obese: suffering and stranded without medical care. The first on a long list, and by no means the least important of our accomplishments, has been the opportunity for the firm to expand its reach and offer the same quality services to an ever-widening client base. Our list of clients doubled in the last six months of 2006 alone!
